I was wondering about this too.

We are missing info. If it was one egg they would be the same sex too. I wonder if it was one egg and the boy was conceived by the Thai family at the same time? That really clouds the matter. Very sad

When you decide to have a baby and once you know you're pregnant (surrogacy or not).... Your job is already being their parent.
How could these parents do this? As a parent of a child with a syndrome and heart condition this story breaks my heart. Who will fight for a sick baby if the parents don't? So so sad. Sickening. There has to be more in the story. . But even if there is. .. These parents still seemingly have left their own child behind. .. Only taking the 'healthy' baby. ... How could someone do this? Not only that. .. leaving this baby to die as I imagine without surgery on his heart very soon he surely will not survive.

Disgusting. First the 'parents' take advantage of a poor lady by paying her to have their kids, then the screw her over again. The poor baby that was left behind, breaks my heart. I hope the authorities are told the truth and the parents get charged for falsifying documents. The parents will have to explain to the healthy bub why they left her twin behind. Heartless mongrels.

I also hope that the surrogate comes completely clean about everything and the awful couple that used the thai surrogate get in trouble somehow for what they've done.

How could you go home with 1 beautiful baby and just forget they ever had a twin! A twin you didn't just decide you couldn't look after and put up for adoption in Australia but a twin that you left behind to live with their SURROGATE in POVERTY!

    I don't even...

Simply horrendous. That poor little innocent gorgeous baby...
I too think there must be more to the story as a lot of it doesn't seem to add up.

If they bought the bub home before giving him up for adoption then everyone would know they had 2 babies... And were heartless cowards for giving the sick baby up. This way they can continue the facade that they are loving parents.

    Utterly despicable people!

I am glad that baby has a beautiful Mummy who was willing to step up. He is a lucky little boy.

As for the Australian parents one can only hope one day the child they have will learn the truth and will be as horrified as I am. I surely hope they are banned from entering into any further surrogacy pregnancies.

This is way to close to home for me to say anything more.
