CD29 today. AF taking her time. According to the clear blue OPK, O was on CD9. So I think somethings not right here. I wonder if the clear blue was wrong and I missed O.
Anyone have any experience with this?

Question for all you either 1)long term TTC people 2)have had success in the past or 3) understand the whole TTC thing.
How often should you be DTD?
So, the DH and I DTD this cycle mostly every second night, however twice missed a night.. is that enough to get pregnant?
I hear so many mixed things about every night or every second...and what makes it harder for us is that I'm taking clomid (induce O) and have PCOS, so OPKs can be either wrong or I don't know!! (waiting to hear results of latest BT). haha- have gotten 3 positive 'peak's, all kinda spead out, and 1 positive 'high' followed by low afterwards. I think I have a 31 day cycle, well going from my last cycle, so O day should have been on D16/17.
Going to test on September 23rd!!!

@LeonieJane It sounds too early to be implantation bleeding, but you never know!!! for you hun!
@tassiewife We only dtd 4 times leading up to o, and i think they were mostly every second day. We finally conceived this cycle. Every second day covers all bases as sperm can live up to 5 days inside you. Good luck and i hope you catch that egg!

@tassiewife I have been preg 4 times, we have done different things each time. First we dtd every second night, then we were doing smep - which is every second night until o then you dtd the night you get + opk and the nifht after. Skip a night then dtd again. Then we said stuff and went every night. I tend to prefer smep. We got preg twice using that method

@tassiewife I think you'll find it's different for everyone. DTD every second day may be fine for some couples, but it might not be enough for others. Same with SMEP. And DTD every day may feel like too much for others. So just go with what you're comfortable with & what doesn't feel like a "chore" IYKWIM. 😊
I honestly don't remember what our pattern was with DS, but whatever it was it hasn't worked for us second time around. For what it's worth, our FS told us to DTD every day for about 6 in a row, from day 9 to 14. As we're tracking our cycle through them this month we know I was O'ing this weekend & I got my +ve OPK today on day 13. We've stuck to his plan & will "try" once more tomorrow & then cross everything that it has worked!

Thanks everyone! I think the hardest thing is making sure it isn't a chore 😔 and as much as I hate to admit it, it has felt like that sometimes, both my DH and I have both felt that- think that was why we missed a few nights. Also extra hard as I have no idea when I O so no idea when to start or which/if the OPKs are right or not.
Oh well, time will tell! We DTD more this cycle then last, as last time I didn't even know if I would O and I did! And who knows I may not have even O'ed this time!!!! Arrgghhhhh!!!!!
But again- very much appreciate the comments! 😄😄
