@tazz475 Nothing worse than someone forcing you to do something you aren't in the mood for.. which can be very off putting for men. Ttc should be a fun experience... maybe you can try get him in the mood without telling him that you need to dtd now as you are ovulating.

@curlybirdYeah I know, it's not like I was gonna rape him or anything
DP never knows whether I'm ovulating or not because he doesn't believe in ovulation.. he just thinks you can get pregnant at any time.
I know TTC should be fun, but it's just not anymore, when you try for a year and get pregnant twice and lose the pregnancy both times it sort of loses it's magic I suppose. Not that I don't enjoy all of the BD'ing
Just disappointed but I'll get over it. No one ever talks about the TWW to ovulate haha only the TWW afterwards.

ETA: his sense of urgency is to do with TTC in general. And it's not like he doesn't want me to get pregnant sometimes I think he wants it more than me, He just thinks it's going to happen magically.

Tazz I hear you loud and clear!!!
It is so hard to do the saliva tests, the ovulation a tests, charting, is the cervical mucus right? What day in my cycle is it? Should we do it this morning or this evening or both, oh my god we did it yesterday, are his swimmers going to be ideal now? Etc etc how the hell do you do that and a) don't get stressed, and b) make it fun!!
Get him in the mood? Pfft please!!!! This is a journey for the both of you not just you take the stress and he just gets to have the fun, that's not a partnership. at. all.
Wow, have I been doing this too long as well? πŸ˜„

I have honestly tried. He's all: "back in my day girls just get pregnant when they're drunk, no matter what time of the month"

    Good luck for the acupuncture.
Hopefully it sprinkles baby dust in your ovaries

Don't be scared! The needles don't hurt at all! But I went to scratch my arm when I first had it done and urgh!
Make sure you are comfortable before they put the needles in so you're not moving afterward!
A few sessions ago I had a resting frown so the needle went in my forehead when I was comfortable but when I was left alone I must have been thinking about something or I duno, but when the needle was taken out I was bleeding! πŸ˜†
Honestly I've had it done heaps of times and that was the first time I had ever had that happen! No pain at all ☺️
