Lasagne or pasta bake. Anything that cooks in one pan/pot/baking dish. Do a big salad and get one of those pull-apart breads from the baker. Chuck it all on the table, help yourself. Done!

Last night I made two big batches of Cannelloni, fed 5 adults and 2 kids with leftovers.

    1kg ricotta cheese
Frozen spinach (I used 4 cubes)
    Grated cheese
    Grated parmesan
    Passata sauce
1 and a half box dry Cannelloni tubes
    Mixed Italian herbs

This is so easy: Just mix the ricotta cheese, spinach and a handful of grated tasty cheese, Italian herbs and salt/pepper in a bowl.
Pour a thin layer of the passata into the bottom of your tray/dish. You can add some minced garlic to this layer and couple of bay leaves, too.
Fill the Cannelloni tubes (you can use a piping bag, I prefer a small fork) and place them in a single layer in a baking dish.
Cover with passata sauce, grated tasty and grated parmesan cover with foil and cook at 200c for 120 minutes.
Serve with fresh crusty bread and salad.

Double the ingredients for your group ^
Also, you can serve with Bolognese sauce, I don't as my DH is a vegetarian, but it would be awesome if I did.
