Couldn't post text above so doing it here....The reason for this post is that DH is having a work function (Dinner)....
Titled Dress to impress....
I have ordered this Dress to wear...
Do you think that I will be underdressed ?
Would you wear stockings with it ?
and what colour shoes should I wear ?

I absolutely LOVE IT!
I'd wear skin tone pantihose like the model and probably black shoes.
It's gorgeous, I have a couple of similar dresses. I'm a sucker for that black lace look, it's timeless and pretty yet dark and sophisticated. Love.

I don't think you'll be underdressed. Some nice hair and makeup and some really nice accessories and you'll look wonderful I'm sure.
Depending on the weather I think it'll look nice with or without tights.

That's beautiful! You'll look stunning *swoon* You wouldn't need to add much detail I think because you want to emphasise that gorgeous lace, I would go with skintone legs and minimal accessories. An elegant up-do would be gorgeous too.
Where did you buy?

I would get your hair done, panty hose if you wanted to ( I am not one for panty hose ) and def coloured shoes!!! Is the dress purple under the lace? If so I would go for purple closed toe shoes if yoh can find thdm otherwise my second choice would be nude, but only because I love nude shoes!

Well Ladies back for a quick update ...Purchased the above dress from ebay....Received it the other day and it was too big and too long ....and I wasn't really in love with it IYKWIM.... So I want to a bridal store and tried on 3 dresses and OMG the third wasn't a style that I would go out of my way to try on ... But I tried it on (was a dress that store girl chose) I was lost for words really really fell in love with and and didn't take it of...lol I only have to get the length taken up every where else if fitted me perfectly .... I have added a pic in this post it's not the exact dress but you will all get the idea of the style the colour is Purple (another bonus) my Favourite... So what I am now after if you don't mind is some ideas on Hair styles and Makeup....I am having a lady professionally do both.... I am so excited about the dress it's really lovely .... http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODAwWDgwMA==/z/pXQAAOSw7PBToPo-/$_57.JPG
