    The boys' sister is on my Facebook mums group. She said that Dee was actually really gracious, but was edited really badly for the entertainment, but she took it anyway. Michael and Carlene's auctioneer was their BIL. There you go, that's my fun facts for the night lol

    I don't think there's anything wrong with D&D walking out. They would have been gutted and probably just didn't want cameras in their face for that bit. They comforted M&K straight away when they came in. I don't think they handled it badly. I just think they handled it the only way they could.

    I honestly would be devastated if I spend weeks away from my life, being a puppet for producers to only walk away with 10k. I earn more at work in that time.

    Exactly! Less buyers at that end of the market means less competition and the results we saw last night..

    I think though they want the contestants to make good money and unfortunately an average ( price wise) apartment doesn't have the possibility of bring them in 100's of thousands and won't take months to do.

    I think the problem they will always have is they will have to pay big. $$ to find a building and then they are really building new apartments internally so it will cost channel. 9 a lot so they have to make sure they at least get their money back and aim for the higher end of the market - didn't all the units in the fans v favs sell really well in the millions this year in Melbourne ?
    There's a market for any property as long as it's priced and marketed right , they all actually sold really well, the last 3 still reached their reserves which in real estate is a great result. , it's just the contestants don't own the units so get no benefit unless it goes over the valuation

    I have to admit if D&D or any of the teams that made next to nothing appear on another series as rumoured I wouldn't be that upset anymore.. They deserve another shot at making some decent money!
