Default I said I wouldn't use the TV as a babysitter...

...but DH is mesmerised by Sesame Street while I prepare his bottle.

I said the same thing but it does help in those times when you just have to get things done...like have a shower!! I think limiting the time is a good option. It definitely doesn't make you a bad parent

Speaking of shower, while he's still mesmerised now he's finished his bottle I think I'll do that. Bad mummy award coming my way!

I am not even going to edit the original post to correct it because it's so unintentionally hilarious! After years of trying for a baby I guess it'll take awhile for me to get used to writing "DS" on this forum instead of "DH"!

DD is almost 4 months and she throws a happiness fit when Sesame Street comes on... But she's a baby. DH should probably find a more age appropriate show and make his own drink

I'm 33 and still love Sesame Street. It's fantastic. It's not just made for children, they've made it entertaining for adults as well. I wouldn't mind if you placed me in front of it while you made my bottle*.

    *glass of wine.

I will admit that I tend to watch it more than DS and DH combined.

*runs off to grab a wine for Holly*
