    Default Help with maths homework.

    Can anyone help with this crazy maths homework?

    I need the rule for the sequence of numbers in this set {-9, -3, -1, 0, 1, 3, 9}

    we are stumped because anything divided by 0 is 0. Need fresh eyes to help.

    Thanks!

    Hubby says there is no rule lol (high school maths teacher). He says numbers either side would be -27 and 27 but it doesn't fit geometric or arithmetic rules.

    We kept saying it MUST me a typo! I'm not too bad at Maths and it just doesn't make sense. Apparently the kids were told there is an answer and whoever gets it will get extra credit. :-/

    I HAVE to solve this!
