I'm back on board this week. Morning sickness is killing me but I'm determined to try and keep the weight gain to a minimum with this pregnancy. It's so hard to get it off afterwards, better to keep it off in the first place.

I'm starting the morning with scrambled eggs. I have some heavy cream in the fridge so might add some to my eggs and coffee today.

I make mine in the thermomix.

    800g cauliflower
    600g water
    Salt and pepper
    20g butter

It cooks for 15 mins (just cauliflower, water and salt and pepper). Then add butter, cook for another 5 mins. Blend. Serve with grated Parmesan. It's creamy and delicious

Well girls I'm having a pure protein day after my appalling weekend.

    Bacon and eggs
    Cheese
    Ham
    Chicken breast

    Plan for today...

    Bacon and eggs
    Cauliflower soup. Boiled egg
    Cauliflower fried rice
    Snacks - cheese, macadamia nuts

Yesterday was good. According to myfitnessspal I ate 28g of carbs. Trying for another hardcore protein day today. There are raspberries and blueberries in the fridge calling me. Trying to be strong!

From what you ate yesterday I thought you would have been under 28 grams of carbs. Where did the carbs come from? Just curious, always trying to work out where the hidden carbs are.

I checked back through myfitnessspal. A handful of carbs from macadamias and ham. Plus a couple from eggs (I ended up eating a few). I know macadamias wasn't in the original plan!!! But I'm happy to get under 30g.

Ah ha the macadamias! nuts can be so dangerous on low carb plans but they are so yummy.
    Great work staying under 30grams
