I'm just wondering, at what age do babies drop to two sleeps/naps a day? And is it generally a morning sleep then an afternoon sleep, so baby is more wakeful during middle of day???

My girl went down to two at 9 months. Awake for 3 hrs between naps. At 11 months still in same routine.

I'm pretty sure DS went to two sleeps from about 6months. He usually is awake 2.5-3 hours between sleeps. On a good day he will have a 1.5/2 hr sleep in the morning and a 1-1.5 hr in the afternoon. A far cry from the first 4/5 months of his life when he would only 'catnap' for 40mins at a time!! (He was a reflux baby so they say that can contribute to catnapping, once he started to improve so did his sleeps). I can actually get things done now!
