We were sent to hospital but have been discharged now. Her cough is terrible.

    How is James now, Ponytail?

We still have bad post-vaccination spots here. She's crabby and not napping. I'm guessing this is what real measle spots may look like!

What are you giving her, Bond? Did you try the Nurofen and Polaramine combination?

It's the first time she has been sick. I feel awful as I have had a cough for 2 weeks so she probably got it from me.

Ummm, no. Sorry. She kinda seemed ok so just gave panadol when she got crabby but now I'm worrying it's not a vaccine reaction as the rash seems quite bad, and she's got a white head on her finger too. Different to the rash on her body

It's 4 days post-MMR and Varicella (Chickenpox), so logic dictates it is most probably the vaccines doing their job...just a bit more vigorously than perhaps we would like!! I'd definitely try 6-hourly Nurofen (10mg/kg), and Polaramine (1mL) 8-hourly. The Polaramine will help with discomfort from the rash. What's her temperature?
    I wouldn't worry about a white-head.
Do you have a late-night Pharmacy nearby you could send hubby out to?
Text me if you need to.

AFM; had cycle 2 of chemotherapy, and it was pretty awful. Just chilling on the couch now. Nausea has settled with some heavy-duty medications, but unable to eat anything.

Reminder girls...feel your boobs for lumps!!!
