J, yes she drinks loads of water from cups during the day. She's a good drinker but not a good eater. Unless it's something sweet she really shouldn't have!!!!

Rebecca, I felt very disappointed with my first bf journey. It didn't end how I wanted it to and I was upset. He was on full formula from 13 weeks and I wanted to bf much longer. But this time has been much more successful. So perhaps if you have another baby in future all will be ok. You only can do as much as you have done. Please be kind to yourself.

Also, my boobs don't grow during pregnancy but supply has always been fine :-)

It was actually quite easy! I feed her first thing in the morning with both boobs and then an hour later I feed her breakfast (with cows milk) and then she generally goes down for a morning nap. Then at around 10am I give her a highchair tray full of fruit and sometimes a yoghurt. Then midday it is lunch and then around 3 it is afternoon tea. At both naps I give her 150ml of formula - sometimes she drinks it all. And then dinner at 5:15/5:30pm and then boob again at 6:15pm for bed.
Every now and then she still try to grab them, but i distract her and yes, always have her water bottle on hand. I actually leave it on the floor so that she can just grab it herself.
Someone told me that I should stop giving her the formula feeds for her naps, but this is Chelsea's wind me down routine. She is not a massive eater still - especially dinner.
    Hope that helps?

Sienna is a terrible eater, so I still give her formula. At least then I know she's getting some of what she needs.

My boobs didn't grow when pregnant, and I didn't get the huge porn star boobs on day 3. And my supply was crap. I continued mix feeding until 11 months, then she self weaned. I would have loved to exclusively breastfeed, but it wasn't to be.

Thanks Miss X, yes that sounds relatively easy to reduce her feeds! Not sure Meadow will do it easily. She cracks it if I refuse to feed when she demands it....by wriggling down into position and now pulling at my top! I try to distract and offer water/food but she's not easily distracted!! She has cow's milk from a cup, hates formula. But still wants booby!!! *sigh* I don't give a hoot if strangers think ahead too old, but it's a pain in the butt sometimes and she is a long way off self settling to sleep

So many of my shirts and singlets are ruined from Chelsea pulling on them When she does it, I stand up and quickly make a fuss over something else or take her outside. Sometimes I figure that she does it because she is hungry, so
I will give her a strawberry or watermelon. But I am surprised how easy it was! She was a very eager boobie monster!
