    Toni I agree with Rainbow that's it's totally normal. River will still have her mummy, she will not be any worse off long term, it can just be a tough adjustment at first. Before long it'll just be normal for all of you. She'll get loads of love and cuddles while bubba sleeps. I think because she's little it'll help her adjust more quickly. And please remember to look after yourself and your needs too. It's so easy to spend every moment doing things for the children that you get burnt out. Xxx

    Question for J- Toby had a cold which lasted for 2 weeks so we went to the docs who thought it was a chest infection and prescribed antibiotics. He finished the course 3 days ago and seemed 100% better, but now he has a chesty kind of cough again. Should I go back to the doctors? I'm not used to sickness as I never get sick and I'm not keen on him being on antibiotics or whatever again but I want him better!

    It is not uncommon for a cough to linger, even once the initial infection has passed. This is due to "irritation" of the nerve endings in the lungs, which can take a few weeks to resolve.
    Is he OK otherwise? No fever, normal energy levels, eating and drinking normally? If he is otherwise well, then I would not worry.
    However, if YOU are worried for whatever reason, then a quick trip to the GP wont hurt, and may put your mind at rest.

    He's snotty again today (that has passed finally!) but is otherwise fine re temps and eating etc.

    Ooh I just realised I can move over to this thread now!

    Our third beautiful son Angus Glenn was born on Tuesday 26th August at 6.40am via c section. He weighed 7p8oz and was 50cm long. He's doing fantastically well and hopefully I will get there eventually! Here's our little man...
