@loodle have you contacted 13HEALTH? They can give you advice over the phone.
In regards to the codeine, you can take up to 60mg every 4-6hrs which would be your 2 panadeine forte. You can take regular nurofen with the panadeine forte, but don't over do the codeine without speaking to a doctor or pharmacist. Please please call an ambulance if the pain is not controlled. The nurses are very slack for telling you they can't call the doctor in to see you. They get paid to be on call, so they should be there! You may not get X-rays, but at the very least they can prescribe you stronger pain relief. They wouldn't give a phone order without assessing you first.

Can the nurses not even call the doctor to discuss if you should be looked at?

My mother worked at the hospital when they lived here and when I told her who the nurse was I saw she told me I would not have much chance getting her to call the Dr. DH has managed to get the Drs after hours mobile number from a medic at his work and has called and left a message so we are hoping he rings back soon.

Ouch! Coming straight down onto the tiles could definitely have broken something rather than a dislocation. Hope the doctor gives you a call back soon!

Honestly, I think you need to be seen in a hospital.

A fractured pelvis is actually a really serious injury and if that's what you think you may have, you need urgent attention.

I hope the doctor calls you back soon.
I would be filing a complaint about the stupid nurse.

The Dr has finally called back and has said there isn't much he can do tonight but he has phoned in a order to the hospital for some stronger pain relief to get me through the night so DH has gone to get it for me and I have to ring the reception of his office first thing in the morning to get a time to go in and see him.

Glad the Dr could give you stronger pain relief. How did you go through the night?

Last night was rough still in constant pain despite the tremadol but eventually fell asleep at 4 this morning out of pure exhaustion. Currently in the Drs waiting room so will see what happens after this.
