Default Good schools - Southern Sunshine Coast

My husband and children are moving from Brisbane at the end of the year. My children will be Year 3 and 6 next year so I am wanting recommendations on good state primary and high schools. I also have a budget of only 500k to buy and want walking distance to the beach (which is the main reason we are moving up. Hubby is working in Beerwah and I will be waiting for teaching work.

    Any recommendations appreciated. Thanks.

Carumundi primary has a great reputation and prices around that figure. Walking to beach. Very jealous. We lived at dicky but no more work there for us.

I know this is an old thread but I wouldn't suggest tallara I know multiple family's whom have had to pull their children due to bullying. There are a lot of really good public schools here on the coast if you pop a post on fb sunny coast community board you will recieve a lot more replies. My children go to meridan and they love it I have had my share of issues with the school but the teachers my kids have had are brilliant and the kids love it. Brightwater has an amazing primary school and kawana is fabulous also. Good luck with the move
