Just thought I'd post a little update here, I still have phi sitting there waiting, but so far with a fit bit and some care with what I'm eating ice lost 18.6kg, I am 900g away from being out of the hundreds I'm just going with the flow and will reassess surgery when phi wait period is over

Wow pipers mummy that's fantastic! Good on you! Sounds like you won't be needing surgery after all. That's a great achievement.

I'm not 100% convinced I want this surgery bit deep down I know it's my only hope. I postponed my appointment but will be going in the next few months. Don't even know if I'll be able to save $6000 when my phi 12 months is up. I have to have it done on school holidays when my husband is off so he can help me and no kinder.
I just worry about regaining all weight lost as I did with the band. If I regain all the weight again with the sleeve I have absolutely no hope at all as most of my stomach will be gone.

Was it after the band was removed? I don't know enough but I imagine the sleeving is more "permanent" than the band. I hope whatever you choose to do you have happiness and peace there is nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable in your skin! Xox

I guess the same principle applies with the sleeve. But this time you can't eat much.

Pipers mummy to lose 18.6 kgs in nearly 4 months is awesome. You won't need to consider surgery if you continue to lose weight steadily like that!
As much as I know that this surgery is my only option is the 1st time I've been so hesitant about something. I genuinely don't know if I want to do it. I think that's also why I'm putting off appointments.
