    Default Gastric sleeving

I'm sure this has been spoken about before but in seriously considering opting to have this done. I've just received a quote for phi for myself only as for a family it's just not doable.

I'm wanting to know if you have had one done do you regret it at all, what was your recovery like, basically any information you wish someone had told you before you did it.

I'm jut sick of being miserable I have been overweight pretty much forever, at least since I was 12, I don't want to go on like this anymore and I've looked I to this for a while before deciding.

Subbing as I have a family member undergoing this procedure very soon and I'd love to know peoples stories if they're willing to share.

Thinking of you and your struggles PipersMummy.

    Hi pipersmummy.

How much did u get quoted for a single person cover? I'm paying 52.50 a fortnight with rebate for just me. I'm wanting to get it done too bit haven't seen a surgeon yet. I'm with Latrobe health services. It's definitely am added expense for me that is sometimes a struggle but I've had failed banding surgery so this is my only choice

My sister has it done and she has lost heaps and heaps of weight but has had complications and has basically been on a liquid only diet till they go back in and fix the problem. Seeing what she's gone through I would rather be fat.

Hi OP. The price pp is paying seems pretty good. MBP and AHM are over $70/fn for Top cover no extras (only cover they have that includes WLS).

Hello! Yes ive had the operation.

Recovery from the op was fine, two weeks max and i was back to normal.

I dont regret it, but i regret falling pregnant during the optimal weight loss phase.

If i had my time again i would have gotten to goal first then fell pregnant (i didnt gain anything during pregnancy) but still had some to lose.

Basically the low carb high protein diet from our thread will be your life.

Thanks ZE hubby is waiting for his snip so hopefully I can avoid that issue hehe. I don't mind low carb high protein, I actually feel a lot better all over eating that way I just seem to have some problems sticking with it and I have sooooo much weight to lose I usually get to 20 and then give up.
