My dog is getting older (she is 8) and this winter seems to be really getting to her. The last month or so she is stiff/limping on her left wrist (front paw) when she gets up from laying down but then it seems to free up and she is fine. The last 2 weeks its been bitterly cold, and she insists on sleeping in our bedroom which is cold (even when the heater is on in the lounge!). It seems to be getting worse and she will now resist putting weight on it when she gets up.
We try and keep her warm, and she doesn't spend much time outside in the winter. She hasn't had any injuries which could be playing up. Does it sounds like she might be getting arthritic? We will take her to the vet, just wondering what other people think/what we could do to help her?
