Hey ladies, 17 +2 weeks today... Last four days have been so busy... And my ankles are sooooooooooooooo swollen.... Can't tell where my legs end and my feet start....
Also stretch marks are very clear now and stretching pain still happening every now and again...as I have a very small torso, I think I am going to look like I'm carring twins by the time end of March comes around...
Know I asked this before, but has anyone looked into HypnoBirthing ... (Calm birthing it based on HypnoBirthing) for those that have had a csetion before and would like to do a natural birth this time round, this might be an option to look into... It's been great for just dealing with every day stresses as well.

Hello! 7wk scan booked for 10 Nov, might lay low til then.
Thanks @ScubaGal 😘
@Soques I did calm birth for my first preg. Would highly recommend it. I was able to manage the contractions and stayed home til I was fully dilated the midwife couldn't believe it for a first birth, she was going to send me home coz she thought I was too calm to be that far along. Happy to answer any other questions u have about it

Hay guys and welcome lillypilly and akakura. Big congrats😊.
Just wondering if anybody else is having a hard time in really believing that it's all happening. I know it's weird but I just can't seem to get my head around it's all going to be ok and I am having a baby. Even after 19 weeks today. scans all good getting big. It's so weird. Guess it's been such a hard road to get here I just want it so much I guess it scares me. positive thoughts we deserve beautiful babies😉

Grace1 definitely look into it... These ladies take no drugs, no intervention of any kind unless it is to save life of baby or mother... Ladies that go through HypnoBirthing the rate of emergency c sections drops from something like 30% to 5%...
DH's little daddy day tip app told him only 156 days to go...
He's excited... I'm excited... Can't believe what is happening but so excited

@sarahf yes definitely agree. Glad I'm not on my own with feeling like this . It feels really weird but it still doesn't feel real to me. I've been feeling like rubbish for months, had two scans, heard the heartbeat twice and starting to pop a bit now, but it still hasn't fully sunk in that there is actually a little person in there growing. I feel slightly odd telling people I'm pregnant because it still doesn't feel real to me! I'm only 14 weeks so maybe it will change soon! I think as someone else mentioned, for us IVF ladies it's usually been such a hard road to get here we're probably too scared to actually believe this could be happening to us! Hope everyone has a good day.

I feel the same, Ive been thinking about getting pregnant for so long that now I feel like im pretending to be, I need a real bump to remind me daily its all real, until then Its a little distant for me.
@Soques - Im planning on doing a Calmbirth 2 day course and ive got a book on the theory behind Hypnobirthing, which if you're a complete cynic like me really helps you understand there is real science behind it, not just mind over matter bollocks. lol I recommend reading up on it before you do the class so you go in with an open mind. This is the book I have.
Also i think I had very slight MS last night for the first time, it felt like i'd eaten too much cake or something and sipping water made me feel better. Yay for MS!

Wait till you have the baby. It's the biggest spin out in earth, I said to my nurse in recovery. " I just had a baby" it was just like nothing else I have ever experienced ever and it gives me goosebumps thinking about it
