I wonder if I can get acupuncture to make me feel more symptoms....

Went to the gp today because I am still worrying about not having enough symptoms. I've stopped needing to get up during the night to pee, my boobs are less sore and the queasiness has backed off a fair bit.

Currently waiting for a BT, and got a referral for a repeat scan. I was sort of expecting the gp to tell me off for worrying and say it's all going to be fine but she didn't she just took me seriously....

@ScubaGal sometimes these forums can be great and sometimes they can be our own worst enemy. Please don't compare yourself to everyone else on here. As you've probably heard, every woman is different and every pregnancy is different. Just because you're not getting symptoms doesn't mean there is something to worry about. I'm glad your GP did more BTs for you, I'm sure they'll come back fine and hopefully the results will ease your mind a bit . Don't forget, there are women out there who don't even know they are pregnant until they go in to labour (extreme I know!! haha) but there are also lots of women who don't get any symptoms or only very mild symptoms. My friend at work is 34 weeks pregnant and has barely had any symptoms at all, and my mum was over 12 weeks before she even knew she was preggers! I really hope everything comes back great for you, but please try not to worry!!

    Thanks @nvandmv
Hopefully I'll get an astronomical HCG and that will give me a bit of comfort. I was surprised the GP took me so seriously I think it's a failing of all the pregnancy books and websites to write so much about symptoms and nothing at all about the fact that they come and go or might be very light for some women... The Internet and literature paints a picture of pregnancy as totally debilitating from 6-12 week....

The one thing that makes me feel better in the face of waning symptoms is the concept of homeostasis - that is, the body is always trying to adjust to what's going on and achieve normality.
