Go to the pharmacy and ask for Cannestan. It'll knock the thrush in the head in a few days. You can choose from a pill or cream or combo. You don't need a prescription. Once it's gone you can get on with you Pap test

You can get a Pap smear done with thrush, it should not affect the results. However, it seems you should definitely go to the GP if the symptoms aren't resolving as you might have a more resistant thrush organism or perhaps a bacterial infection.

There is this other type of thrush that requires tablets to get rid of it. Something like Boric acid. I don't know how it's different but apparently the usually stuff won't kick it.

If the over the counter things aren't working go to the dr about it. I had a really terrible case of it once and I tried so many OTC things, and they actually ended up making it so much worse. I must have had some nasty type of it I think. I had to go on a course of strong prescription meds to get rid of it but I shouldn't have waited so long - I was in agony by the time I went to the dr about it.

You most certainly can. It would actually be a good idea to get it done if over the counter treatments aren't working.
