I watched last night! I felt so sorry for Froome.. he could barely hobble his way in to the team car! Cobblestones and wet weather made for very addictive viewing!

I am not really a Froome fan - but I was very sad to see him go out like that.
He crashed in the Dauphine last month and hurt his had - and then crashed again on Stage 4 and re-injured it ... so controlling his bike in those conditions was always going to be a challenge.
I am hoping Nibali can hold on - but 20 stages in yellow is a HUGE ask, and he hasnt been in great form lately ... so I dont know.

I'm just trying to catch up- currently watching stage 5....just saw Froome getting back on his bike...does he have another fall?
I would be happy if Nibali keeps the yellow but like Katie's mum said - pretty hard to keep it for the rest of the tour!
Not sure if I missed it but has Andy Schleck withdrawn?

Abandony ... oh I mean Andy ... withdrew on Monday.
With his lack of bike handling skills, there is no way he would have handled yesterday anyway.
Watch the rest of stage 5 wobbleyhorse. It is honestly one of the best stages of a race I have seen in a very long time.
One to remember.

The stage was so exciting I had to watch all of it, rather than my usual taping it at midnight and watching the rest later.
