Default 14 month old with blistery rash :(

    Hi all

After being away from my baby for 3 whole nights wedding dress shopping I came home to a baby with some blistery looking sores around his mouth. I put this down to an allergy, saw the doctor and he gave us antibiotics and steroid cream and sent us on our way. It didn't feel right and by this stage it has spread and we went to the hospital with a viral skin infection diagnosis. Cut a long story short, looks like hand foot and mouth but is mostly on his knees, face, hands and arms. Any ideas?

Sounds like hand foot and mouth to me. Unfortunately panadol and nurofen and then waiting it out is all you can do for HFM.
If it isn't better in a couple if days I would go back to dr. If vomiting, fever, breathlessness or weak limbs go straight to emergency room.
Hope it clears quickly whatever it is x

Sounds like HF&M . I would think the hospital or dr would recognise it though.
