Hi all, I'm after a bit of baby wearing advice. I used an Ergo with ds1 which I was happy with so didn't bother trying any others. Ds2 is on his way so I'm looking at other baby wearing alternatives for the newborn phase. I'll be having a c-section this time round so I'm thinking my ergo and other hip/pelvis fastening carriers will be uncomfortable on the scar area. I haven't used a ring sling before but I'm thinking this carry style might be better while I'm healing. What do you think? Are there any other styles or makes you would recommend? Bearing in mind I'll be chasing after a toddler and am a wrapping novice. Not looking to spend too much either as it'll be our last bub and I plan on using the ergo again once I've well and truly healed. Thanks for your help!

I haven't used that brand but have used mei tais and i personally didn't find them as supportive as ds got heavier. I have noticed Bykay is a widely advertised brand as long as you buy one from a reputable seller listed on their website i wouldn't imagine it would be fake. Try find a stockist near you so you can actually try it on. They are lovely looking

I haven't used that brand either but I loved my mei tai from about 3-9 months then ds did get a bit heavy. I still use it though and is great for high back carries that I can't get with the Tula.

Just bought my first ring sling, can't wait to try it out! I just have to learn how to use it now. Really wanted an Oscha but they are out of my price range for the time being. Ended up with a broken in Girasol
