We have one when mummy feels like one. We could go months/year between than my have a run where we have it everyday for a week.

It's not the norm in our house. We never have it. We went to a friends for dinner last week and the next day ds had newsday at school. His news was that he got to have dessert the previous night

In our house growing up we had dessert on Sundays only - I guess we earned it after our churching lol.
Dh's family had dessert 7 days a week so it was definitely a norm for them

(and just about every one of them is slim as a reed too while most of my family are on the over weight side)

We never have it and I'd rarely go for it when out for a meal either.

My BIL & SIL came to stay with us for 4 weeks and only on the very last night did SIL tell me that BIL has dessert EVERY SINGLE NIGHT back home.
I felt so bad that we never offered him anything

We don't have it as a rule. If I invite someone over for tea I will provide one. Sometimes I will buy icecream in the tub or icecreams in a box but they never last long.

No dessert here. That's the best bit for the kids if I take them out for dinner.

Most of the time. Usually home made butter cake, biscuits or slices and ice cream probably 4 nights a week.. but we eat small portions most of the time.
