I love this challenge! Both my kids but especially dd love being read to. Im going to aim for at least three books a day everyday and also check out the library for baby rhyme time sessions and borrow books too

Hi Green Cheese. What is 'a story a day box'?

We read The Path to the Stars last night before bottle and bed. DD was more interested in trying to eat the book than listen to the story, but I think it was a good wind-down and I enjoyed getting snuggles

hi fearless leader. I forgot to say, I can not go to sleep without reading. I will go up the wall when I don't have something to read. my bedside table is always holding at least one book. It is impossible for me to have nothing to read, so I don't want to bore this thread with all my reading. I wanted to share that I think reading to your children is the most important thing you can do. and I love to read and sing nursery rhymes with my grand children. marie.

We had a reading fail tonight :-( After 4 different families coming to stay since last wed, back to back, hotel goosey (and kidlets) were exhausted! All kids in bed by 6 and I'm off very soon! I'll try and make up for it tomorrow with double reading time :-)

Tonight's choice was 'Goodnight Moon' another favourite although we do like to scrunch the pages and try to eat it!

    I'm joining in
    Yesterday was 'Toy Story 3'

Today was 'Guess How Much I Love You'

I want to read to them more. I like reading to ds1 but ds2 isn't really interested. Will let me read one or two pages then walks away
