Have a long, luxuriant shower. Wash your hair. Settle yourself in bed, wet hair and all, in a big, soft bath sheet with tasting plate and chick show of choice on DVD.

    Press play.

Wait for waters to break. This should take roughly 30 seconds.

Hang in there. When your bub is in your arms this agonizing wait will be a distant memory.
This picture and experience sounds absolutely amazing. I am going to do this tomorrow! It sounds amazing!!!! @harvs you have a way with words!

This too sounds pretty good to me! It's like some kind of silent protest! But also relaxing.

Some good suggestions there! Promise the dog a walk- either you will go into labour and the dog goes on disappointed, or the walking may help if labour doesn't happen before hand.

Forgot the reason why I opened this thread earlier...

Df and I have decided to work our butts off to save a deposit and stamp duty for a house we want. It's been on the market for a while, and has seen quite a good reduction in price... I think it's quite good that no one seems very interested in it (bonus it is tenanted) but it could go under offer any day now.
So the sucky part is we are starting from scratch again with no savings and we have worked out we will need roughly 12k because df's parents have said they will lend us some but it needs to be repayed within a year... So, $12k in 6 months- $500 a week that meeds to be saved. Things are going to get really tight, just when they had started to get better again since I have gone back to casual work. *sigh*
My wedding seems so far away...
