Just took forever to put dd to sleep. I'm meant to be working on weaning and improving her bedtime routines, not spending way over an hour when she has had such small naps today just trying to settle her! Just under 2 months until I leave her for 3 nights... Hopefully she is old enough to understand there will be no milk when I return! (she will be a week shy of 15 months)

I started watching a show from the US that I downloaded (Friends with Better Lives) and they only aired 8 episodes or something before the show went on hiatus. They finally released the remaining 4 episodes that were filmed. I watched them today, and I'm so annoyed. In the last episode before the hiatus, one of the main characters had a baby... In the remaining episodes I watched today, SHE'S STILL FREAKING PREGNANT. Where's the continuity?! If the show isn't cancelled, I'll be pretty surprised.

I seriously don't know how much more I can take. I need sleep. I need at least 5mins to myself without a screaming, cling on baby. I am losing my mind :'(

Just for something different, i've woken up half a dozen times and can't get to sleep properly. I want to give DP a little smack for lying next to me, completely oblivious, sleeping soundly.
Instead, so I don't disturb him, I get up hang washing out, fill the water purifier, cuddle the cat and try and sleep on the couch. It isn't working.

My left ear is completely blocked. It makes me anxious. I hate not being able to hear properly, especially at night.
And then on top of that, I have to lay on my right side all night because of dd, so my left ear is meant to be my survival ear.
And of course my boys would choose last night to randomly keep coming I. To me and waking me up from whatever rubbish little sleep I was already having with questions like: "can I put this used tissue in the bin?" (1:50am), "I think I need a drink but its too dark to see the cups" (2:15), "I just wanted to know if 2:34 was in the middle of the night?" (2:34), and "my mouth is dry and I don't like it" (3:36).
It's like they planned it, I swear.
