Hi, Just wanted to hear from mums with experience. Did your 3rd baby really shake up your life? I know no-one would regret having a child but I've heard a few of mums of 3 say that they recommend sticking to 2 kids as the 3rd makes life alot harder.
I've also heard some mums say 4 is better than 3 - which I just don't get. Is number 3 really that bad?
Or are you a mum that badly wanted and craved another child but decided to stop at 2?

3rd Baby... As terrible as people make out??

It depends on the baby and child. My 3rd was my easiest, he was a dream baby. My 4th has been the hardest.

It's bloody hard work! My 3rd was by far my 'easiest' baby but 3 kids in total is bloody exhausting! Sorry!! Of course that's what we wanted and I'm so blessed etc etc but omg exhausting work!! My dd2 is very very trying!

Nope! Number three was a breeze for us. We were just super relaxed and knew what we were doing and DD2 just fit into our lives and went with the flow.
Same with our fourth actually.
I struggled most with our second and now with our fifth. Five is tough :/

Thanks ladies, appreciate your honesty
Just another Q though.. Is your 3rd still a baby/toddler? Or is it still hard work even as they get older

Thanks jade24, yeah I can see how 5 would be tough! You would have reached a new level of tired!

Subbing - mum keeps trying to tell me her #3 was a mistake (hospitalised with pnd, no family to help, dh working long hours). I'm at 2 (with no family here, a supportive husband but he works long hours) and ideally want 3 but nearly too scared to go there!
