    Default Times Table Bingo !!!!

    I printed these today

    http://www.bubhub.com.au/hubbub-blog...ntable-sheets/

    and for the holidays I am doing a little "Times Table Bingo" challenge for my DD

    (as some of you know, I have been looking for some little projects for the holidays for her ... this is one I have come up with)

    I created a sticker grid (4 lines with 5 boxes per line)

    Each day I give her 20 multiplication questions (up to 12 times tables). She has 15 minutes to complete ... if she gets them all right (she gets 2 'second chance' answers) then she gets a sticker.

    When completing a line she gets a small prize (a lollipop, a pair of earrings or something she wants that isnt too much). On completing the whole card she gets a bigger prize.

    Do you think 15 minutes is fair? (she is 8, and reasonable at maths)

    ========

    What other things could I do?

    Subbing for our road trip in the holidays.

    A similar version but with states and capitals?

    Oh and yeah I think the time is fair, even on the longer side actually depending on the size of the cards.

    Another "game". Dd1 teacher gets them to try to recite times tables in under a minute and if they do they get a small prize out of a mystery box. Times tables including 1, 2, all the way up to 12s for those that can.

    My dd1 is 9 so roughly the same age as yours.
