Yep my daughter is in yr 11 now.
And I have my son who started yr 7 and 1 in Primary, 1 at home.
It ws nearly $1000 just for her yr 11 books.

So relieved we are getting the July Bonus. I have too still pay $550 to the Secondary School for rubbish school fee's /sigh

    And need more Uniforms :/

Yer we have one in year 10, 2 and pre primary (this year)& 1 at home so things get expensive and every bloody week I'm paying out for some school expense or replacing items I just bought (I'm in no way relying on this payment had already budgeted school cost in) but it comes as a very nice BONUS since we are just getting back on our feet

Hi PippaG - I was wondering this too the other day and looked back through our bank records to find that we had not received the first payment. It's not until you call up Centrelink that they have this information as part of their "on hold" information whilst waiting for a customer service person. We have not received any information otherwise to let us know that we should have called and let them know he was starting in order to receive payment!

Give centrelink a call or change your child's status online to a school age child and you should be back-paid the January amount within about a week and will soon also receive the July payment.
