Yeah that makes sense... Hopefully you don't have to do that again for a while! Have you been feeling bub kicking away? I keep wondering what it feels like to get solid kicks. All I feel is a flurry of bubbles and the occasional pop haha

Sparkle was wriggling away today while i was working to breath. Maybe I was really focusing on her because i was worried.
I have an anterior placenta so doc warned might not feel much of the preliminary movement - just once she's a bit bigger

Yeah I have an anterior placenta as well but a very sensitive uterus. I had been feeling bub moving for weeks and then it went quiet for a few days and I was getting a little worried. We went to the hospital for a tour of the birth unit and the midwife kindly used a Doppler on me. Bubs heart rate was perfect but we figured out bub was no longer head down and punch the bottom of my uterus but lying across me and most likely facing the placenta which explained why I wasn't feeling much. The midwife poked my uterus for a feel and then bub moved into a position where I'm feeling those "bubbles" again haha. It all depends on their position when they are this little as well I guess! Now I have an explanation for why sometimes it's quiet in there!

Is sonny very different personality wise to Noah? I'm wondering what we are in for this time!
Sonny is soooooo much easier! Noah had bad reflux, was slow to gain weight and was terrible sleeper. Sonny is a dream and settles in his bed easy so I haven't 'needed' to wrap him much.
But I think it's more my heightened depression/anxiety lately that makes me need my own space so I haven't wanted babies or children glued to me.
I have started wrapping (a bit) again in the last few days though. Sonny doesn't seem to like it as much but I guess he hasn't had much practice.

    Oh my gosh how scary.

Yeah i agree almai! Especially as I've had no MS or feeling yucky at all - still feeling superhuman. Anyway it prompted my boss to chase me down to talk about maternity leave.

Oh god what a source of confusion and stress this is going to be! Anything to do with money streses me out on a good day - let alone if it means potentially not having an income at all...

What kind of maternity leave do you get? I would be very concerned if I got sent off on mat leave at only walk way too! You have every right to be feeling that way but hopefully you'll be able to sort something out!

I get 14 w paid through work. I think there is requirements under Safe Work SA that mean i can move to a safer role rather that go on mat leave now. As it is i have to leave town at start of 34 weeks - so means maximum of another 12 weeks work - depending on what we negotiate. Fricking scary!
I am organising to catch up with my sis tonight - 2 babies makes her a centrelink veteran - so she will help with the planning a budget and things - so hopefully won't appear quite so daunting

Yeah agreed! We sat down and worked out budgets and what our income would look like when taking time off and it made it less scary. Hope tonight brings you some reassurance that everything will be a-okay!

I don't get mat leave with my job but I took the 18 weeks government may leave and then I'm taking my long service leave at half pay so out of about 10 months I'll only go unpaid for about 8 weeks.
