20 w scan done and dusted - 2 hours for baby to cooperate tho.... killed my back in the process lol. Spent the rest of the week buying some big ticket items in the city - so bit excited for that. Hope everyone is keeping well!

So cute Kazzy! They don't always like to cooperate do they? I almost had to go back a second time for a foot! She wouldn't show her foot to the sonographer.

It's so exciting when you get the big items!

That's right. But was relieved to get it done. Was no chance of gender id with this scan so grateful to have done the harmony test

That's awesome @Kazzy36! Did they tell you that bub was perfect in development? Just wondering if they flag any potential issues or anything they might see straight away. We are having a gender reveal party a week after our Morph scan so hoping everything looks good for us too! So far bubs been great!! Can't wait for us to meet our bubbas!!

We were talking about names with the family last night and that was pretty exciting. Still no closer to a name yet!

How's everyone else going on this front? I'm going to sit and go through some more again. My grandma loves a name that I also love but some close friends of ours want to use it (and have told us several times) so we won't "steal" it from them.

We wrote a list of names we liked for both boys and girls.
We looked at it a few times and would cross out any names we no longer liked.

I work in an ever changing environment with patients so if I heard a name I liked, I'd mention it to DW to see if she liked it and if so it went on the list. Interestingly the girl name we loved when we got pregnant ended up being at the bottom of the list by the time bubs was born.

There are a heap of name threads on here as well. I scrolled through those to see if any caught my eye as well.

Default Same sex parents or parents to be chat!

@Kazzy36 curious on the name G likes now haha. Do you have any names you like on a list or is it mainly that you're not fond of that one?
@Chekry yeah I've been scrolling through some threads to get some inspiration. The good thing is that we know the baby's sex so we don't need to look at both lists. If some reason bub came out the other sex we kind of have a name chosen anyway haha. At around 20 weeks we will come up with a list and then start striking names out I think... It's such a big decision and we don't want to get over the name once bub has arrived.

ETA - I also try to memory bank names I hear or see that I like haha. As long as I don't have anyone too close with that name or using that name.

Oh G will pick any name that she might see while we are out and about... the most recent one is KEYSLEY - not kel-sey, but key-sley. Mum and Sister are teachers - so pretty have given some pretty brutal advice to think like a nasty girl at school and pick the name to bits lol. I just don't want to curse our child with a name they have to spell and correct pronunciation on for the next forever.

I think I have seen that name before as Keisley or something along those lines. Haha that's great that you have some people looking at the names from a different point of view but unfortunately kids will always find a way to make fun of a name if they want to. We are also in the "ordinary spelling and easy to pronounce" camp. We want something that's not too outrageous or too unique 😊
