If I'm not too tired to drive, definitely that! And once he's asleep I get a mcflurry through the drive thru.

As a baby I put them in the pram and push it around the lounge. If I can go over a small bump that works even better.

I usually let her stay up for a few more minutes, if it's been a hard day and she's really overtired I hold her in my arms and just talk quietly until she calms down and drifts off

Lay in bed in the dark and pop my boob out...always worked for me.

If she really can't sleep I let my 3 year old watch tv with me (something really boring on ABC works best). After 5-10 mins she usually takes herself off to bed.
I have fond memories of occasionally staying up watching TV with my Dad when I couldn't sleep as a kid.

Rocking chair in front of the fireplace with just the glow of the fire, no lights. Haven't had to find a summer sleep trick yet lol.

Taking them for a drive and not risking taking them out of the car so sleeping in the driveway with a blanket and pillow and the heater on in the car.

When younger car and stroller always worked. Now if she won't sleep i don't fight it and I let her stay up until she's beyond exhausted and chuck her on the boob lol.
