Default Icsi and calcium injection and egg agitation

    Hi all,
I am about to start my 6th ivf round. This time my fs suggested when we do icsi that they inject som e calcium into the egg and agitate/aggravate the egg(give it a bit of a shake) I can't remember the name but if anyone knows the name of the process or had had it done to their eggs can they give me more info.

I know there is a high calcium medium they can put eggs in but haven't heard of this... Are you having issues with fertilization? Is that why the suggestion?

Thanks for replying. Yes, we are struggling for our eggs to fertilize as well as for my eggs being mature enough. I have changed to elonva with this cycle and just injected today. I hope it works this time.
