@phee83 and @francesthecat great to see you here. Phee I'm so happy that your BT came back confirming that nice strong line you got the other day
@Sharlie and @francesthecat sorry to hear about your bleeds. That must be very scary, although it does sound as though they are very common.
@Leafy Congrats on the 12 week scan. That's exciting. @frogpossum yay for good harmony test results and scan. That must be a relief.

@SleepyDude DH wants a surprise but I would be more inclined to find out so we are currently undecided but I am coming around to the idea of a surprise (if we get that far).

We had a scan today, they said there was nothing untoward, it was really just a reassurance scan for our peace of mind. When the scan came up, bubs was noticeably bigger, looked like an actual tiny baby now, not a bean... but no flicker. No matter how hard they looked, no heartbeat. The lady was flabbergasted and said it must have only just happened because he was today's size. And the Dr said it had nothing to do with the bleeding, just a cruel coincidence. The baby and sac are completely intact.

Anyway, I will have a D&C next week after a second scan Tuesday to reconfirm, but they were pretty thorough about scanning. They will test the foetus for abnormalities and I'm hoping there is something otherwise I have to wonder about my ability to carry on top of everything else!

This pregnancy has been a slow train wreck. I'm hoping for a nice, easy, plain, straightforward one next time.

    Good luck everyone. xo

    Thank you everyone, @Leafy @francesthecat @frogpossum @Bellydance @OIC @phee83 @SleepyDude ... your thoughts sincerely mean a lot. xo

We can't leave things too long as I'm 38, but we shall take a couple of months off and regroup later in the year. In the meantime, I think a nice, warm vacation is in order. I'll be thinking of you guys and shall pop by from time to time to see how you're all traveling. Babylicious vibes coming your way. xo
