Yay @SleepyDude I'm so pleased!
Hopefully it bodes well for our scan tomorrow. Eep!
also found out the prednisilone that the clinic has me on (to suppress immune response I think?!) is also prescribed for severe morning sickness which may explain why I haven't really had much. I was starting to worry...

Good luck for your scan @Sharlie! I found that once I came off Prednisalone at 10 weeks I got really sick - all day! So I feel lucky to have been on the Prednisalone and skipped (hopefully) most of the nausea!

I have the most insane fears about today's scan aside fr no heartbeat. Like, what if its scrambled? (Im not quite sure what scrambled will look like but we had ICSI so it somehow seems plausible) Or scramblef like twins but conjoined or entwined? Or there's nothing there and I literally lost it without noticing... All ridiculous I know. I will just be happier by lunchtime for knowing I'm an idiot.

I want to wish everyone good luck. Sadly for us it wasn't meant to be.
At what should have been 8 weeks we found out our bub stopped growing 2 weeks ago.
Will be having a D&C and trying to move on.
I have to keep believing my baby is out there

@OIC and everyone, good news, I'm officially an idiot and no scrambling is apparent at this stage and despite the foetus being in a 'difficult' position to scan, we managed to see a little fluttery heartbeat, 122bpm. Phew. That seemed a little low to me but the dr said he would only be concerned if it were around 105bpm. The little blueberry-sized dinosaur (and I say this on the basis of the example pics I'm seeing in the preggo apps) is 1.1cm long. I'm 7 weeks 4 days.
They were able to detect the clot causing my bleeding which is a lot lower down in my uterus so shouldn't cause issues for the bubs, who is safely tucked up the top, but I will continue to bleed for the next few weeks or longer as it disperses.
Phew. Roll on 12 weeks...
