Ok I got lazy and stopped posting but had to jump back in because I just had a really heart warming moment. I was on the phone to my parents who have been o/s for the last 2.5 weeks and I was telling dad that we've been practicing and my daughter now says "pop". He got all choked up and had to put mum back on because he couldn't speak. I love how much he loves his grand babies, it's a whole side of him that I never saw until he became "poppy".

( I wrote Day 24 twice!)
DP and I spent the day doing stuff around the house. New towel rails, some minor repairs got patched and we went to get a quote for new laundry cabinetry.
Now off to have tea and drinks with good friends and neighbour.
DP is making the most of my designated driver status!

Day 25- picked up DD's birthday presents and gave her one early (she actually found it under my bed, lol), a leapfrog lap top, she's mastered navigating it already!.unbelievably proud of my clever munchkin.
Day 26- my 14 year old DS has his lovely girlfriend over today and they have been watching the Simpsons and playing with DD all afternoon. So happy to have such a mature and loving young man, I wish I was that well behaved at 14!
I love his girlfriend, she's such a gorgeous sweetie and I'm just so glad they have eachother.
