Day7. After a tough couple of days with DD, I cuddled up to her after her bath, all flannelette pjs and sweet smelling hair and touched base with myself deep inside how much I love her, I felt I was struggling with that and was feeling very down.

Day 7: happy to hear my mums best friend is already out of hospital and on the mend after a stroke last week. She is going to be fine thankfully.

Day 7: had lots of fun & laughs playing with DD while she had naked time before her shower tonight. Naked chubby babies are just so cute!

Happy for new beginnings to take place. Happy to close this chapter and start a new one.
I'm terrified, to be honest. But if I don't look for the silver lining it wouldn't be in the spirit of this thread!
Happy for my first official day of being a single person in 15 years.
(ok, not really. But if I keep telling myself that it's a good thing it might make it easier )

Day 8 - after 3 nights of under 3 hrs sleep thanks to DS I got 8.5hours without disruption. Didn't even wake to pee!!
