Will post a few more times to try and activate PM.

I have been TTC since 2012. 1 Natural in May 2012 that end up Blighted. 3 x clomid and ovidrel, 2 BFP that ended at 4-5 weeks, 1 BFN. 1 further Natural pregnancy straight after CP, this too ended up as a CP.

About to start 4th ovulation induction cycle through my current clinic. My treatment protocol appears to be for immune issues, though this was not explained to me as such, but which I have inferred based on others explanations online. I have been told I will be taking steroids, clexane and antibiotics. Fingers crossed.

    Hi leighclair

i am in perth too and there is no specialist here for immune issues. My FS has referred me to Dr Matthias in Sydney. In perth they can put you on the basics like you are on but anything more and you need to be referred to Sydney unfortunately. My FS has been supportive of working with an immune specialist. Let me know if you want to know who he is. Good luck!

    Hi Snowy

Thanks for your reply, I am not sure I have posted enough to get a PM yet, but I would love to know who your FS is! I really like my FS, and I can't foresee him having an issue with me liaising with Dr M or doing his protocol, but you never know.

I have just completed my fourth OI (with Prednisolone, clexane and antibiotics) and it was a BFN. I have booked a phone consult for a few weeks time with Dr Matthias as even though my current clinic wants me to do another OI round, I want to have Dr M's protocol in my back pocket to go ahead with if this next round fails again, and then I can get started on it straight away.

I hope things are going well for you with Dr M!

Good luck leighclair for your journey. So many CPs. Quite heart breaking. Hope u get the answer u need from DrM. He isnt cheap but good to look into it with that many CPs. Did u call the people that i mentioned about the intralipids? Good luck to convince your FS to look into the issue or coordinate with DrM. There are many conservative FS here in perth.

Default also looking for an immune issue friendly Perth FS

    Hi, I'm new here.
I have spent this week googling and emailing FS in Perth with this exact query so I'm very excited to find this thread!!

I'm wondering if I may be able to PM anyone here who has found a helpful FS in Perth who treats immune issues or is willing to work with a Sydney based reproductive immunologist (Dr M)?

A bit about me. I just found out I have the MTHFR gene mutation (though no specifics yet as will see test results tomorrow).

Had the test referred by my naturopath as I asked two separate FS for the test but they refused.
