KLM I took a little one over with me that I got at the chemist here and handed that into CFC the day before I left. I then got a BIG sharps container off them to bring back for all the gestone and clexane I was on... it's still sitting in my bedroom as I can't be arsed dropping it off at a needle exchange

you might lose the ice packs for security reasons Seahorse.. not sure, that's why I used Synarel... Can you get some zip lock bags and ask for some ice to put in them on the flight?

    Well done Luca..!!

To the ladies who are on round two...donor selection is not easy second time round... You start questioning all the your criteria... You just have to go for it...! I have waited for the "right" donor and the "right" time and so many have got pregnant and so I just picked one from our short list and we are getting ready for a November transfer (hopefully)...

Seahorse, I found a small plastic container at woolworths (I think its called a breakfast to go container in their plastic container section - meant for yoghurt ?) and sat the Lucrin in the top part and ice underneath . I just asked for top ups of ice periodically through the flight.

Hi Seahorse that's all I had and it was fine, still super cold when I arrived in CT, I had spoke to the flight attendant about getting some ice which they were happy to do but when I checked before landing in Johannesburg it was ok so I didn't bother. Re customs in Aus before leaving they asked if I had an ice pack and that was it, no problem. Good Luck

Seahorse - all the best for a fun filled and successful trip!
Patsy - I'm confused about the meds too. Went to see my gp about them today and ended up with a referral to see my FS about them. I don't mind though as I'm sure my FS knows a lot more about my body and what it reacts to during IVF cycles. Don't worry though as I know a lot of the ladies have gone through their GPs with no troubles at all!
I asked CFC which they prefer and they said it didn't matter, although a lot of ladies used the spray as it was easier to get in Aust.
I do prefer the idea of a one off injection though so I don't have to remember to sniff or inject at the same time every day...
Hopefully will have it sorted by Fri.

Seahorse - I used the breakfast to go pack from woolies as well. Just put ice in the bottom and the lucrin in the top and then you will replenish the ice during the flight (and do it again just before you get off). Put the breakfast to go container into one of those cold lunch bags and it will stay cool beautifully for you. I don't think they will let you take ice bricks or anything with a liquid content of over 100mls in it? You will be so fine. Best of luck.

    RB x
