KLM, so happy that you have had such a good result! Woohoo! And also that you are enjoying CT as we enjoyed it so much. Table Mountain is great and the penguins are worth going to too. We didn't stop in Simon's Town apart from seeing the penguins but you're close to Kalk Bay there and it's well worth going to Harbour House for lunch if you can.

Myheart - thinking of you Hun and hoping you are being kind to yourself xx.

Title - bet you can hardly both believe that your fabulous egg safari is just around the corner. How exciting. So pleased you are having a well earned rest. We did the same, having 3 weeks away and making a lifetime holiday of it just in case. That said, as you know we got our little Springbok dream. This week will fly. Xx

For all ladies and gentleman - I am making some hardcore decisions ATM and having a bit of internal debate. I would love it if any of you could help with the following Qus:

    1. how many people are expecting twins following 2 embies TF?
    2. Anyone other than Erin have x 1 emby TF successfully?
    3. Is anyone planning a DE cycle in October or November?
    4. Is anyone planning on travelling solo?

    Thanks gorgeous people. Xx

    Hi Laned,
I'm still in the process of choosing a donor so not sure when I'm going over but will be travelling solo.

Hi Laned, I had one embryo transferred which was successful. I also have a friend who isn't on the thread who had one transferred and is now 10 weeks. I also travelled solo 😄

Wish, Henry is gorgeous and 3 months already, time is flying by.

Though i feel like it is standing still at the moment as we wait for our next u/s on Monday... dying to see our 2 little twinnies. MS has eased so feeling a little paranoid that maybe one has not hung on. Saying that, suddenly my boobs have popped and starting to feel tender and similar to MrsErin, have also had a few small brown blood bleeds. thankfully has not been much each time but has been consistent and been on a Friday each time at 5, 7 and 9 weeks and is scary... done lots of googling and seems to happen to a lot of people and seems more common with twins too... any other twin mummys experience this?

laned, not sure if you remember but we only got 6 eggs and 4 fertilised, with 3 'text book' blasts on day 5. I actually did ask if we should transfer all 3 but both hubby and Dr LR very quickly said NO of which i am thankful as we are expecting twins. (Hopefully still). If/when we go back for our frosty I would do it on my own.

KLM, great egg retrieval and hoping your little embabies are growing strong. Are you going to put back 2?

Tittle, we did Tanzania (ngorongoro crater, lake manyara and the serengeti) in 2010 and it was amazing we very luckily got to see all the Big 5 and accomm our guide etc... were fab. You will love it and then onto CT it will be awesome and not long now too.

Thinking of everyone and hope you are all doing well.

Laned, if you're wondering about success rates for a single transfer, Dr W told us it's about 10% less than with a double transfer, so roughly 55%.

If we go for a second, then I will probably go back alone.
