You have to go to Perth for your Dr's appts, EPU & transfer but all the tracking (blood tests, scans, pickup of meds) can be done in Bunbury. If you get a referral to one of the dr's there they will just fit you in to whoever has availability. We saw Dr Sillender & Dr Borude who were both lovely. Dr Jovich supervises everyone's cycle (they have a meeting every day to discuss all their patients) - he is the founder of pivet - very experienced in IVF & tweaks things as you go.

Oh and pivet will repeat ALL of your tests so I would wait till you get your referral to do them there, we went straight from our first appt to get the blood tests done.

Thanks @rosey82 our dr in port Hedland is doing the referral and sending it for us and I called Pivet today and they said it's only a three to four week wait ☺️ So hopefully we can get the process started as soon as we move back! Can I ask how successful you guys were with your treatment? Thanks again ☺️

That's good, feels good to have a plan! We did 3 clomid cycles, 1 IVF, 1 FET all BFN with Hollywood. Switched to Pivet, had all the tests done again, got our BFP first cycle with Pivet which resulted in 14 week old DD in my arms now & 3 frosties. Just bear in mind they might be quite conservative with your first cycle as they have no idea how your body will go with the drugs, but I hope it works first time for you & good luck with your move!

We had our first appointments with Pivet and all the tests! Went for our second appointment the other day, most of the results are good! I just got a small uterus, so gotta take some medication for that for a month! Scan on 30th to check the meds have worked, then we should be doing our first round in January ☺️
I'm gonna be staying in Bunbury for that time, just to make it easier 😉
I'm just praying that I don't have to bad of time with the meds!! And I hope I can do my own injections ok 😳

It's nice to feel like you have finally got the ball rolling isn't it? I had to take the meds for a small uterus too, 6 weeks on estrogen when all I wanted to do was start jabbing!
Don't worry the needles are tiny you would be surprised how quickly you get used to them. Just ask the nurses heaps of questions nothing is too dumb they have heard it all before.
Best of luck 😊

We started the IVF a bit later than expected.... Had a few other obstacles to over come! But finally started, I'm day 12 today.... Been jabbing since day 3, I go for bloods tomorrow and scan to find out when trigger is! Hoping for Saturday and egg collection on Monday 🙏🏼
You were right needles are nothing to worry about at all 😉
Just beginning to feel very tired and uncomfortable now, but it'll be worth it ☺️
