Ok folks here's a question: I've got a FET scheduled for this month. I'm assuming it'll fail/miscarry because I've got zero hope after the last six weeks. We've got a total of three frosties. So - if that happens and we don't end up pregnant I'm seriously considering asking for another stim cycle instead of putting another frostie in so that we can get more frosties = better chance of one or ideally two kids.

    What do you gals think?

I just feel like three frosties isn't fantastic odds for one and definitely isn't great for two and let's say I get pregnant on the third and final frosty, I then have a much lower chance of having a sibling because by the time we can start again my eggs will be 35/36+ and worse in quality.

Thoughts on this 'banking approach'? Anyone else considered this?

Ps I also feel like my money on a second stim cycle will be better invested at 33 than 35-36...

@ScubaGal I just went through a stim cycle with a frostie on ice for exactly that reason. If you want more than one child I think it's the way to go. I have a baby but wasn't sure if I wanted one or two more kids and my FS said if there's a chance I wanted 2 more to do a fresh cycle now.

That's what I'd do @scubagirl save the frosties. Ivf is such a rollercoaster and a gamble, your better to have too many eggs frozen than not enough
