Oh that's **** **** and ****. Seven stims is right up there. I really feel for you xxxHey sue We leave for fiji on Saturday..
We got our results back and not good. 5 were abnormal and 2 inconclusive. We had a meeting with Lynn already and she said she was disappointed and would have liked to have seen at least 1 normal embryo. She recommends we stim again at lower doses as the high number of eggs we got may have affected their quality (on top of my age)... Who knows ?! My head is all over the place. I went into the meeting thinking she would say donor eggs was the only answer for us and when I queried her on whether or not she thought we would have to do this she said she would like to test 10 more embryos then decide as long as we could afford to keep going through cycles.. The next cycle will be our 7th stim. I never thought I'd be doing so many cycles. I have been feeling pretty devastated, the idea of going through it all again is pretty hard to handle but I know we will.. We will probably transfer another 2 frozen while any freshies get tested but I worry about the quality of untested embryos now... So much to think about... Bring on Fiji I say! @Flemo everything is crossed for you tomorrow, so want to celebrate a wonderful result for you.. @sophdask welcome to the group. I had 3 cycles at Melbourne first and they were really a bit of a write off. I have a lot of confidence in Lynn and wish you all the best..
Sue Clexane is not the nicest injection it tends to leave bruises and is a little stingy but it's certainly bearable .. Haven't checked into the thread for a while I hope everyone else is doing ok... X

Thanks for pointing me to the right forum.
I had my first appointment with Dr. Lynn last week after 13 month TTC with no luck. We're in the first stages of testing but it's SUCH a whirlwind. She's already booked me in for a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy for me in a couple weeks.
Has anyone had these done?
She does speak fast, but I think the hysteroscopy will help "clear me out" and then she'll give us another 3 months (assume DH's SA comes back normal) before going to IUI.
Is it me, or is surgery a bit full on before even getting blood / SA results?
We're obviously very keen to have a baby, since all my friends (even those in their late 30s) are conceiving in 2-3 months.
I'm 34.5 and DH is just about to turn 30. I'm secretly hoping it's him so I can avoid the surgery, Terrible I know.
