Thanks ladies. One hot tip don't have a wheat bag on your stomach before you do a clexane injection or it will bleed. It's never happened before won't do that again

Babee hope u r enjoying Fiji.... Did you get your pgd results?
Hey sue We leave for fiji on Saturday..
We got our results back and not good. 5 were abnormal and 2 inconclusive. We had a meeting with Lynn already and she said she was disappointed and would have liked to have seen at least 1 normal embryo. She recommends we stim again at lower doses as the high number of eggs we got may have affected their quality (on top of my age)... Who knows ?! My head is all over the place. I went into the meeting thinking she would say donor eggs was the only answer for us and when I queried her on whether or not she thought we would have to do this she said she would like to test 10 more embryos then decide as long as we could afford to keep going through cycles.. The next cycle will be our 7th stim. I never thought I'd be doing so many cycles. I have been feeling pretty devastated, the idea of going through it all again is pretty hard to handle but I know we will.. We will probably transfer another 2 frozen while any freshies get tested but I worry about the quality of untested embryos now... So much to think about... Bring on Fiji I say! @Flemo everything is crossed for you tomorrow, so want to celebrate a wonderful result for you.. @sophdask welcome to the group. I had 3 cycles at Melbourne first and they were really a bit of a write off. I have a lot of confidence in Lynn and wish you all the best..
Sue Clexane is not the nicest injection it tends to leave bruises and is a little stingy but it's certainly bearable .. Haven't checked into the thread for a while I hope everyone else is doing ok... X

Cevapa all the best for your upcoming fet. Straycat lynn will be honest with you and always seems to try a lot more than other specialists. Goodluck with your appt. babee so sorry to hear the result of the pgd. It's a tough one they want you to get lots of eggs so there are more embryos to test but yes lynn has also said to me before that those higher retrievals can cause bad quality eggs. Hope you have an amazing time in Fiji. Hopefully you can clear your head a bit and have a break from all things ivf. Had my transfer tdy which lynn did. The embryo stuck to the cathetar thing and she had to try again. Pls let this sticky embryo be the one.

Hi Babee so sorry to hear about your results. You definitely need a break . A lot has been happening. But I am glad that Lynn doesn't give up so easily and keeps on trying with different approaches unlike other doctors. Please have faith in God and Lynn, I know it's very hard but there is no way out. I am sure that the other approach which she is suggesting will definitely work for you. In the meanwhile , enjoy Fiji and please feel free to share any of your feelings. We all are praying for everybody's BFPs soon....

Cevapa best of luck for your upcoming transfer...

    Lilypily how are you doing?

Flemo fingers crossed , you will soon have a positive result. Surely you would be rewarded after so many weeks of hard work. Good that you had Lynn for the transfer. Can you choose her to be present for your transfer. Was it in Richmond or Clayton?

AF came yesterday. So finally we started the FET. Just a few days back I wrote a email to Lynn updating her that my periods were really coming late after my ivf cycles. Based on that she changed my cycle from a natural fet to a hrt medicated cycle. So I stared with prong ova 3 times a day and estrogen patches every other days plus predislone 2 tablets everyday and I have a scan on day 17 to check lining and then I will start with progestrone and clexane after that. All this too new for me..... I mean scan on day 16 is normal ??? Mivf never did any of this....so it's so new...
