    Tomorrow is looking like this;

    Brekky - 2 eggs and black coffee
    Chobani yoghurt
    Lunch - carrot, celery, hommus, shaved chicken
    Almonds and cranberries
    Dinner - chicken and brocoli stir fry

    I'm starting week 3 of couch to 5k this week. My diet has needed an overhaul for ages!!!

    Thanks - actually I do like omelette if it has heaps of topping so might try that. When I hear people say they ate 3 eggs, my mind pictures a row of hard boiled eggs

    I'm loving the ideas so far. This thread has been an eye opener. i never realised the hidden carbs in so many of my foods. I looked at my non sugar free energy drinks in the fridge, 50g whopping carbs in one can So it looks like black coffee will be my charge.

    This looks like a great plan, but if you are trying to do low carb then you should consider changing the yoghurt and the almonds and cranberries for some low carb snacks. I don't mean to criticise, just offering some constructive feedback.

    Some low carb snacks could include, cold meats such as ham, prosciutto etc, boiled egg, cheese, an omelette.

    There's not much point skipping milk in your coffee if you are eating yoghurt and dried fruit which are both full of carbs!

    From my experience, it's not possible to have too much dairy and lose weight when following this type of eating plan. A bit of milk in tea and coffee can fit in but I couldn't fit a yoghurt into my daily carb limit, it has way too many carbs.
