    Also, I don't do scales. I havent for years. So my first goal is for my jeans to feel comfortable as opposed to tight my second goal is to wear a particular slim fitting dress I own that is catching badly across my thighs. Once it fits properly I'll be done. I'm guessing 3-4 KG

    Good luck on starting low carb tomorrow.

    Just a query, can you snack on something other than the nuts? They have heaps of carbs so not much point eating low carb all day and then eating the nuts, will kind of defeat the purpose. Perhaps some cheese, boiled egg or cold meat?

    Today I ate

    Scrambled eggs
    Leftover chicken wings
    Naked burger
    Sugarfree chocolate

    Just put it in my fitness pal app and it came to 16 grams of carbs.

    I was doing so well today, made myself a double batch of yummy omelette so I could pass on the Maccas for tea for the kids. Then DH (who is sick) and DD eat it I've found the school holidays exhausting dealing with the kids and DH so instead of making more, had a mighty angus

    But tomorrow is another day right girls? Not going to feel guilty.

    Thanks TeBe. Tomorrow is a bit tricky because we are travelling. The reason I chose brazil nuts is that the packet says there is 0.2g carbs in 30g. I was only planning on eating 60g at the most. Will that be ok or should I just avoid nuts altogether? Any advice is appreciated - this is all unchartered territory for me.

    I dont know! It's been like this since i got my implanon in. Just havent really enjoyed food at all. Even the cauli mash which is like my favorite thing to eat atm.

    That doesn't sound right. 30grams of Brazil nuts has about 4 or 5 grams of carbs. Have another look at the nutritional info on the packet, how many grams of carbs per 100grams?

    Just checked it says 0.7g of carbs per 100g. They are the macro brand ones. Off to google now!
