I would take it . There are so many positives and you may not get the opportunity again .

I'm in the same boat at the moment - 9 month old DS and 6 month contracts available. I've already been doing some relief days which is great but unsure if I want to get back to full time. Relief teaching money is great for the time you work but it's so unreliable and hard to plan your days/ life.

Because df does shift work, he has a good number of days at home. So if they call, it's a 40-50% chance I can say yes right away.
Plus at this time of year there is always a shortage if CRTs in the area.
I think I am going to stick with the original plan of CRT. I just feel in my heart dd is too young to be without her mumma. Plus she is definitely our last- I don't want to look back and think I was an idiot for missing a lot of this precious time.
