Under the pictures in the Featured section it's advertising the auction starting tomorrow.
That's where I initially found it. How odd.
This is the HBO press release, seems ligit to me. Breaking Bad also used the same site to do their auction as well:
After seven extraordinary seasons, the award-winning HBO series True Blood will end its successful run on Sunday, August 24. To commemorate this occasion, leading Hollywood collectibles auction site ScreenBid will host an online auction of more than 1,500 props, set decoration items, wardrobe pieces and other memorabilia straight from the set of True Blood. Launching on Wednesday, August 20, the auction will run for five days and close on Monday, August 25, the night after the beloved series airs its final episode.
In this one-time online auction, True Blood‘s dedicated fans will be able to bid for a massive array of items from set, including the following:
- Eric’s throne
- The contract that Warlow makes to “own” Sookie
- Arlene’s wedding gown
- Vampire fangs
- Cartons of True Blood
- Items from the set of Merlotte’s and Fangtasia
- Wardrobe pieces from several major characters from the series
- Signed memorabilia
Fans can preview the auction online now at www.screenbid.com. New items will be added to the site daily leading into the launch on August 20.

Thanks for the heads up and that's rather confusing. Maybe the banker also wanted the throne (lol)
Was it definitely the bank that called?

I know del that's what I thought I'm really confused. It seems legit to me. It was weird they wanted all my credit details straight up but I guess they'd have to Orelse anyone could bid and not pay.

I did more reading and Breaking Bad def used the same auction site. I'm not sure what the deal is, but it's legit. Ahh well, from what I read the really good Breaking Bad stuff went for 5k+ sighs Would have loved me some Eric or Bill fangs but alas it isn't to be lol
5 days to go I'm watching season 1 again.
